Our home on a remote hillside, Italy. August 2011.
It is the hottest summer I have known. The land is dry, the trees and
creatures thirsty. In the heat, Sam is at work. As a pair of Untitled Mirror 8
emerge they reflect the story of our summer. The film takes it’s title from
Hiro, one of two little horses who came to stay, whose coat changes colour as the sun travels across a cloudless sky.

Filmed on an iPhone4, the discreetness of which made the film possible.
