A sculptural form based on a rhombic triacontahedron, a Catalan solid consisting of 30 diamond-shaped facets.

In this work I have created a new kind of stellation by opening the facets inwards towards the internal void, and in my mind I was imagining that I was opening a door to an illuminated space.
